When Your Backyard is a Play Area

I remember when we were first looking at homes and we didn't have any children yet. There were some that had gorgeous views, but then their backyard was a two foot wide strip with a huge cliff drop. Sometimes, the views were almost convincing enough to give up on a backyard, but then we kept thinking we needed a yard to play on when we had kids.

I'm so glad we stuck to our original desire of a huge backyard. Natalie loves to run around outside on the warmer winter days and I can't wait until summer comes-our first actually being home-and we'll get to enjoy it for all those beautiful, warm evenings.
